Colby Cooper Inc. (an Alberta Corporation) has particular interest in developing oil and gas opportunities within the two proven most prolific oil and gas fields in North America. Our first project involves the well known Pembina Area of Alberta, which is our highest priority as we can fast track to attain early cash flow to finance and develop these ventures further. We are, however, currently perusing further submissions of interest. Our Alberta team has met with operators regarding other areas of oil plays brought to our attention for development. Our second project is longer term and involves the Barnett Shale area of Texas, which is primarily natural gas with high reserves of oil, where we currently have the opportunity to position ourselves strategically for future development.

We believe our goals can be attained by steady revenue growth with maximum gain and value to our shareholders by aggressively entering into lower risk developmental oil and gas ventures over various choice areas within the Pembina Area and Barnett Shale fields. The Colby Cooper team brings together a unique, focused philosophy: namely, that prospects added to our inventories should be lower risk and “drill ready.”  This eliminates months or even years of costly exploration work; we avoid extensive wait times and the expenditures generally incurred by preliminary exploration.

We believe strongly that our results will be achieved through the drill bit rather than through mergers and acquisitions.

To finance these activities, the company plans to seek capitalization through a number of funding sources. This could provide a vehicle for liquidity and for the possibility of additional funds through traditional lending sources.
